The Global Goal

Plant today for a more sustainable future.

To protect our planet and secure a sustainable future, the world must commit to planting 3 trillion trees over the next 10 years.

3 TrillionTrees in 10 years
300 BillionTrees every year
8 BillionApproximate global population
4 TreesPer person, per year
Shared Responsibility

Planting is only the first step.

Every tree must survive and grow. Governments should establish policies that make every individual responsible for the care and protection of the trees they plant. Communities, schools, businesses and local authorities should work together to monitor tree growth, replace trees that fail and ensure long-term success.

Environmental Alert

The next decade is critical for humanity.

If we fail to restore forests, reduce pollution and protect our environment, the consequences will become increasingly severe. We will face more extreme heat waves, droughts, floods, wildfires, food and water shortages, and the loss of biodiversity. These impacts will make many regions far more difficult to live in and will threaten the health, safety and livelihoods of billions of people.

Act Now. Plant Trees. Protect Earth. Secure the Future.
CGPS Program Model

15 Billion Trees in Pakistan

The 15 Billion Trees program follows a two-phase participation model for public and institutional participation.

Phase 01

Public participation categories

  • Students of educational departments
  • Shop owners
  • Railway and airline passengers
  • Marriage hall owners
  • Timber store owners

Under Phase 01, categories 01, 02 and 03 receive one Rs. 100 ticket every month, while categories 04 and 05 receive ten tickets totaling Rs. 1,000 every month.

Phase 02

Institutional plantation participation

  • Telecommunication company towers
  • Petrol pumps
  • Brick kilns
  • Private hospitals and restaurants
  • Mine & minerals, crush plants and block factories

These participating sectors are expected to plant five trees every season.

Block model: 05 Lac Trees • Rs. 1,500 per tree • 20–25 year contract. The society is responsible for the process. Carbon-credit earnings will be used for further plantation and welfare activities. Anyone who cuts down a tree will purchase a Rs. 100 share from the society, based on a rate of 40 kilograms, and will be included in the carbon-credit scheme and lucky draw. Location codes for every block will be provided.
Community Participation

Plantation should grow with local communities.

Mountain plantation work will be carried out in collaboration with local communities, with wages paid for the work, while trees will be provided by CGPS.
