Message from the Chairman

M. Akram Shukral

Climate change is a topic that deeply concerns us because its impacts are becoming more serious over the time, including reduced harvests, floods, droughts, extreme weather events, desertification and displacement.

We cannot address climate change without afforestation, reforestation and stopping deforestation. CGPS calls on government departments, institutions, private businesses and the people of Pakistan and International communities to take the issue seriously and support environmental protection plans.
